We invite you to come inside and see how chicken is produced in the U.S.

We understand today better than ever before that the burden of proof for the care of the average American bird that we eat falls squarely on us, the National Chicken Council (NCC). We invite you with open arms to come and take as close of a look as you desire – at our birds, their lives and how they get to our dinner tables. We take pride in the care of our chickens, but we know we can always do better. So come on in and check in on your chickens.

Chicken Check In is the place to learn more about how the chicken you serve to your family is raised and processed– from the NCC, based in Washington, D.C.

The NCC is the national, non-profit trade association representing U.S. chicken producers to provide information and help answer questions about how chicken is raised and processed in the U.S. NCC member companies include chicken producer/processors, poultry distributors, and allied supplier firms. The producer/processors account for approximately 95 percent of the chicken meat produced in the United States.
